make the Military Spouse Priority Placement Program available to all Military Spouses.

Created by S.B. on September 14, 2012

The Military Spouse Priority Placement Program for appropriated fund civil service positions only benefits those spouses who currently work in appropriated fund positions. APF employees already have a PPP of their own. I propose that the Military Spouse PPP should be open to all spouses regardless of their current employer. Work history can be verified and graded to match the APF series and grade descriptions. Continuous federal employment would allow Military Spouses to have a federal service career rather than going from job to job. This would benefit all military families, especially those who need a dual income to survive.
