The SOTU address included a push for Congress to raise the minimum wage to nine dollars. Because our leaders seem to think this will bolster our economy and be a blessing for the proverbial 'middle class,' we should push for our leaders to do more and take real action. A $100 per hour minimum wage would be a great help to workers all across the nation. We the people recognize that there aren't going to be negative effects on our economy from raising the minimum wage, and feel it is time we take what is really ours for our hard work. The people of our country deserve it, and there's no downside as far as we're concerned, perhaps only to those greedy one percenters!
