To make the Minimum Wage a Living Wage, all based on each states Cost of Living. By making a Living Wage, it will decrease the amount of people who need government assistance do to not being able to make ends meet. This will help so many people, including the government.
A living wage will be higher in some states, just because of the fact that those states have a higher GDP, but more money is made, more is paid into taxes, more money is available for government spending. The more people make, the less people will be relying on government assistance. Granted, it may cost more upfront as things, but as things become more stable, there will be a noticable decrease in the amount of people having to apply for government assistance because of not being able to make ends meet.
