make Mister Fred Rogers' birthday, March 20th, A NATIONAL HOLIDAY.

Created by B.L. on March 16, 2013

Fred McFeely Rogers, born March 20, 1928 was an American educator, Presbyterian minister, songwriter, author, and television host. His lessons were taught to children throughout the decades until his death on February 27, 2003. Even now each of us who remember Mister Rogers' Neighborhood carries a piece of his teachings in our hearts.

It is clear that in a time when there is so much hate, disrespect and violence in this world, we take a moment to remember the one person who loved each and everyone of us unconditionally for who we were and didn't care where we came from. To him we were all neighbors, and that is one thing Americans need to remember... WE ARE ALL NEIGHBORS.
