We the people of the United States, petition the Obama Administration to make the Monday following Superbowl Sunday a national holiday. This not only benefits fans, but helps promote a safer work environment, as well as possible reductions in the number of accidents related to drunk driving on the evening of Superbowl Sunday, due to the urgency to be home in time to wake up for work. Should this petition be taken into consideration and granted, this holiday would take effect the Monday following Superbowl XLIX in 2015.
