We would like to make the Moon, known currently as a satellite in orbit around the Earth, as an individual planet. The moon is a free space, under the Space Act, for all humans on the planet Earth. However, the demeaning nature of naming the Moon as a planet may not allow it to compete in a global race to colonize other space entities. To better its marketing appeal, and the ability for it to stand as a competitor against other prime Space real estate, we the people believe the Moon should be re-classified as a planet.
