employers shouldn't be aloud to discriminate against people because of a misdemeanor or another minor crime. if someone has committed a small crime and has paid there fines and debt to society then they should be able to get a job without being turned down because there background check had a blemish. the laws should be more strict regarding background checks so people can change and better themselves and get better jobs to support there families. this will help stop some of the crimes because people will be able to get better jobs and be able to support themselves. it could also save the government more money because people wont have to rely on welfare to survive because of a past criminal history.
