Mothers day should be a three day holiday. NOT one day. FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY stores, banks, etc all closed to honor mothers. Other countries spend three days honoring mothers and the ramifications of this kind of holiday would be positive on many levels. Mothers are so important in so many ways... a three day celebration is appropriate.
