Make Muslim holidays like the Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha national holidays.

I myself am a Muslim living in America, and I would just like to be treated as an equal. If Christmas is able to be celebrated as the birth of Jesus Christ, why are Muslims unable to receive the respect and time to fully celebrate holidays important to them? Allowing these holidays to become equal to holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving does absolutely no harm to anybody, and would give us our rights that we deserve. We aren't asking for the country to shut down so we can express our religion, we just want to be able to have days off, or to be able to have a holiday without being questioned over our intentions. Please take this into consideration when making a decision. Thank you.
