African Americans took a word and made it something new. We have come a long long way. And I feel as though it is an issue between whites and blacks. The word is everywhere in rap music, of which whites make up some 70% of the fanbase.
The word is not going anywhere. If it is socially acceptable for everyone to use it, then we can share even more in the music. And if we can share in music, we can bridge one more gap.
All I want to be able to do is rap in public, man.
