Make National Edward Snowden day a federal holiday.

Created by J.B. on February 12, 2014

We the people want June 9 to be recognized as a federal holiday in recognition of Edward Snowden's courage, selflessness, integrity, and patriotism for his country when he disclosed secret documents that revealed that the United States was secretly spying on American citizens. This should be a day of recognition that we should never let the government control the people, but that the people control the government. Without the people the government is useless, a day that the government will be reminded that it is useless without us, and a day that we are useless when the government makes choices for us.
