This petition is being created in hopes our law makers will look into making a National Holiday for the day after the Super Bowl.
Let's be honest, Football, is an American Pastime, and millions of Americans celebrate this pastime by hosting parties with friends and families. Some people even travel great distances to take part in game festivities. This, I believe would be good for not only personal reasons but an economical reason as well. It will allow those who traveled to the town the Super Bowl was in, to take more time, and enjoy the sights and attractions, pumping money into the local economy. Not only this, it will give people an extra day off with stores and malls open to shop and enjoy time with friends and family. Lets also be honest, some actually need extra time to recover.
