If there’s one thing Americans can agree on, it’s their love of pizza.
Therefore, it’s only right that Americans have the ability to truly celebrate and appreciate pizza on National Pizza Day (February 9th) without having to worry about reporting to work.
This is a day meant to be spent with friends and family, enjoying such amazing pizza delights as Papa John’s Works pizzas, pepperoni ones, and yes, even anchovy ones. It’s a pizza day for all pizzas and all pizza lovers. A national day of unity, if you will.
This is no ordinary day. This is no day for reporting to the office as usual. No, this is a day that all red-blooded Americans should spend with their loved ones enjoying the gift that is pizza. We petition the Obama administration to make this a federally recognized holiday.
