Make a National Sorry Day

This petition is to help heal and bring peace the people that we, as a country, have done wrong to. By acknowledging and apologizing at least once per year, will bring greater respect to the American Government and its people that know when they make mistakes.It is to help heal the wounds from the wrongful actions during times we have been gripped by paranoia or have just done with a healthy mind. This petition is not to shame the government and bring hate towards it, but a way to help the heal from the past and move towards a brighter and better future. We are only human. We all make mistakes and we need to acknowledge them and apologize. If we don't, we'll never move forward them and it will always be in the back of everyone's minds. There is a lot we can do if this holiday is a made.
