Make National Voting Days Federal Holidays

Created by J.T. on July 15, 2014

The United States has a long history of elections. however in recent decades access to the polls has yielded in a significant decrease in the number of votes cast by the voting eligible public. In other democracies voting day is a federal holiday. By making Voting Day a holiday, it is easier for more voters to have a voice in our government by allowing them to take the time away from work to vote and our Republic would grow stronger.
