In order to make Native American Heritage Dayean something, President Obama should make that day a holiday for all enrolled Native Americans. Like the veterans before us, we have a day that supposedly honors us. And like the veterans used to, we have to work on our day. We would like President Obama to use a executive order to make Native American Heritage Day a holiday for all enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe .
