Native American Heritage Day is currently a civil holiday observed on the day after Thanksgiving. We the people would like to make National American Heritage Day a national holiday. This day should be a nationally recognized holiday, free of labor, so that Americans can reflect on both the atrocities committed against Native Americans as well as all the contributions made by Native Americans.
