The FCC's proposed rules eliminating Network Neutrality grant Internet service providers the right to slow down or censor any content they choose.
We see no justification for granting ISPs the right to be the gatekeepers of the Internet.
We see no benefit for our country when only the wealthiest companies and individuals have access to fast content delivery.
-The President must appoint new FCC commissioners who put citizen's rights first.
-The FCC should immediately regulate ISPs under common carrier authority.
-Congress should pass legislation establishing network neutrality as law.
-Local government entities should be unrestricted in their ability to offer Internet service as a public utility and ISPs should be expressly forbidden from bringing court cases to stop them.
