Make neuropsych evaluations count as preventive care.

Created by T.D. on April 03, 2013

A neuropsych evaluation is a form of testing for determining many neurological disorders incluidng autism, genetic disorders, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, learning disorders and epilepsy. It's a key role in understanding and treating these conditions.

Unfortunately, neuropsych testing can cost up to $7,500. Which is more than most are able to afford offhand. Some insurance will cover part of the cost, but even then the process is lengthy and complicated.

I know that when a neuropsych evaluation is administered in early childhood the child can get the support they need to integrate into regular social groups and become a contributing member of society.

Trust me I have autism, ADD, clinical anxiety, and depression. You would never know by meeting me because, I am just like you.
