President Obama was kind to grant federal workers a Christmas Eve holiday. Federal workers have been work hard with no cost of living increases. With the threat of the fiscal cliff and drastic cuts to the government, it would be nice to see President Obama grant federal employees New Years Eve as a federal holiday to further reward hard work and civil service.
