Make No Changes to Social Security or Medicare.
The Social Security Fund has a $2.76 trillion surplus. Social Security does not add one cent to the deficit. Raising the cap on Social Security will resolve any issues of the fund becoming insolvent.
A voucher for Medicare will not come close to covering the monthly premium for healthcare coverage for older Americans. If privatized, the premiums will be so high, most of the elderly will not be able to afford coverage.
