Make November 9th Carl Sagan Day.

Created by R.S. on November 11, 2015

On November 9th 1934 a man named Carl Sagan was born. This man would go on to become one of the great scientist of his time and would uphold the idea, that we as a species are all striving to survive together on this 'pale blue dot.' He taught us that science, doesn't care about one's ethnicity, religion, gender, class or creed. The only thing science cares about, is uncovering the universal truths that exist in our universe. And in comparrison to that, the squabbles between nations are small, and insignificant. This truly paints a bright future for humanity as a whole. And because of this revelation and the ideas found within it, I believe we should make November 9th, Carl Sagan Day.
