For year Nuclear energy has been seen as a dangerous thing in the public. Little is being done to truly educate people on it, instead there are many groups who fear monger, spreading false information about nuclear energy. I think it is important for Americans to be truly educated on this issue, to get both sides of the story. Instead of demonizing nuclear power, I feel as though the citizens of our country should weigh it's pros and cons vs other sources of power. This issue will only get more important as climate change continues to worsen and the subject of alternative sources for energy continues to take center stage.
