I do not agree with the part of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act that sets up stricter nutrition standards for school lunches. I realize that this act was made with good intentions but I believe that this is an unnecessary addition to the act that has had a more negative rather than positive affect on children and their clubs/organizations. With this act, children whose main meal each day is the lunch they receive at school, are often left very hungry; schools are having lots of food go to waste and clubs and organizations are losing money too.
