After his presidency, his great works continued.In 2002, he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian works. Even today, at the old age of 88, his passion for public service continues as he is a frequent volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He has founded a charitable organization known as the Carter Center that "advances human rights and alleviates suffering."
