make an option for federal employees to opt out of receiving recognition for working in the CFC

Created by K.A. on March 05, 2015

Each year the federal workforce participates in the Combined Federal Campaign. Workers volunteer in various capacities to make the campaign a success. At the end of the campaign volunteers receive various kinds of recognition in the form of coffee cups, 'coins' or other incentives. Many workers in the campaign do so simply to give back to the community, not to receive recognition.

The incentives are not without cost, nor is labor to make the certificates that always accompanies these items. They all have financial underpinning that is mostly waste.
Currently there is no way to opt out of receiving this recognition, resulting in unnecessary waste.

Please make a way for CFC workers to opt out of receiving this wasteful expense and roll the savings into the CFC general fund.
