Currently the organ donation system is set up so that citizens must select an option to donate organs after their death. Due to this setup, many people (because they are lazy, don't see the option, forget, etc.) fail to select the option even though they may not mind having their organs donated. Organ donation saves lives, and more lives may be saved if more people choose to donate. While people should have the option to not donate if they do not wish to, more lives would be saved if the system was set so that these people could opt out of donation instead of people who want to donate opting in. Countries who have the system set this way get many more donors.
