Since the "elected" officials of congress and state senate just love to not do their job and put people finances at stake . I feel that they don't need a paycheck if the government does shutdown. Also I feel that they should no longer get free healthcare, they'll have to pay their own. NO EXCEPTIONS. Everytime they call off sick or for an emergency they should get a CORRECTIVE ACTION. Also they should NO LONGER have a pension plan. Since the average American can no longer have a pension plan and some companies are thinking about doing a way with pension plans, well then the "elected" officials should suffer as well. They should live off of Min Wage for 3 years to know what the Average American is living on. Maybe then they'll start protecting those who vote them in.
