Our government was founded when it was impractical to have direct democracy via transportation and communication. However with the new technologies it is no longer such an impracticality. Some ways to start the transition are as follows.
1. create a mobile app for our representatives and their constituents, that would poll us on issues and legislation allowing for more up to date information and not relying upon the Left/Right wing media which is controlled by private companies.
2. More true direct democracy in local and state levels on minor issues to see whether this idea would work, via the mobile app or other.
