Make out-of-state tuition illegal and allow all Americans equal access to higher education

Out-of-state tuition poses a significant and unnecessary financial burden on many college students. This is little more than a legal form of discrimination based on geography. All Americans should have an equal opportunity to attend a university in the field of their choice. The high cost of out-of-state tuition, often 2-3 times the in-state rate, frequently makes college financially impossible. With the already skyrocketing cost of college tuition, a college education is becoming more of a dream and less of a reality for many Americans, and much young talent goes wasted as a result. Please help America maintain a competitive role in the global economy by ending the discriminatory practice of out-of-state tuition and allow all Americans a fair chance at pursuing a college degree.
