Make the patenting of plants and other living things illegal.

Every day huge multi-national corporations like Monsanto paten plants and the seeds that will grow them. Our government then allows those companies to bring legal action against farmers who are found to have those patented modified organisms mixed in with their fields. The problem with that is these farmers have not planted any genetically modified organisms (GMO)! The natural pollination of plants by animals and insects cross pollinates fields planted by Monsanto in close proximity to the fields of farmers who DO NOT want Monsanto GMO’s. But instead of the Federal Government protecting the farmers by telling Monsanto to keep their GMO’s off farmers’ properties, they allow Monsanto to sue the farmers for patent infringement. Let’s tell the Fed to protect the people not corporations!
