Patriots day was a great day in American history. On April 19th 1775 the first true battle in the USA's military history. The militia of patriots in Lexington MA. up to the British, and would not let them take liberty away from us. This day should celebrate what the patriots did for liberty, and a celebration of the first battle in the Revolutionary war, and our first true battle as a nation military. This holiday would remember proud individuals like Paul Revere, Sam Adams, and their conquest for liberty. these men stood up for civil liberties, and should be remembered on a holiday, April 19th. This petition supports making a federal holiday, which will be celebrated on April 19th annually.
