Make Patriots' Day a National Holiday.

Created by J.L. on April 19, 2013

Patriots' day was originally celebrated as the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord on 1775 April 19. Currently, it is celebrated in Massachusetts and Maine on the third Monday in April, and is also a school holiday in Wisconsin. The Boston Marathon is run to commemorate Patriots' Day.

As a show of solidarity with the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who suffered a terror attack on this day, Patriots' Day should be celebrated by all Americans. Therefore, it should be a National Holiday.
