Make Patriots day a national holiday because of The Boston Marathon Bombings, and Lexington and Concord.

Created by C.K. on March 17, 2014

We petition the Obama administration to make Patriots day a national holiday because this would allow us to honor the Patriots who fought for this country in 1775 Patriots Day is usually about celebrating the Patriots who fought for us. I think we should do the same for the medics, the officers and the bystanders who helped. This day is the start of the revolutionary war and this day would lead to the start of The United States of America. The U.S.A. may not be here without this day and that is why we should idolize those American heros. This started the war and got the “musket” ball rolling for the U.S. We should celebrate our heritage by celebrating the day it happened. Patriots day is a very important part of our country and its history along with heros that should be honored.
