Make the penalty for first-time MLB PED offenders one year from the time of the infraction.

Created by B.C. on February 11, 2013

There has been much discussion about the penalties for PED cheaters. The official viewpoint from the parties involved is, that with the increased level of testing, the fear of being caught is a enough of a deterrent.

However, there are many of us who feel that being caught is simply not enough. The current 50-game suspension for first-timers is a penalty that does not fit the crime.

A full-year out of the game and minus salary can only prove to be more discouragement.
