Every year, a Presidential Proclamation is issued decreeing the month of March to be Irish American Heritage Month in honor of the historical and continuing contributions of the Irish and their descendants to this great nation as well as the special connection this nation holds with Ireland and its people.
We, the undersigned, ask that this be made a permanent declaration so as to ensure that this special connection is enshrined and honored forever the way the contributions of the Irish have forever altered this great nation's history.
