The basic purpose of law enforcement is and will always be to protect the citizens of the United States.
However, this interpretation has become something more gruesome to the people of the United States. Law enforcement officials have placed themselves in a position that is above the law.
This is unacceptable. Police officers and other law enforcement should be held accountable for their actions. A simple slap on the wrist and paid leave is not a legitimate punishment for wanton police brutality.
We the people demand a responsible authority, not a negligent and self-serving one.
