If the government is going to try to "fix" the economic situation, they need to learn how. Higher taxes don't encourage job growth and they don't get people off unemployment. All higher taxes do is make people spend less... because they have less to spend.
If the American people are able to keep more of their hard-earned money, they can put that money into the economy, stimulating business and job growth.
