We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Make the Presidential Election Day a national Holiday.

Created by A.A. on July 13, 2016

Every four years the American public votes for the President of the United States. This has been established since the founding of our nation. It is a time-honored tradition. However, there are many citizens who are not allowed to take time off their jobs to vote for a president. If this day is given the status of National Holiday employers are required to honor this day, as defined by the federal government.
