Make the presidential term a single 6 year term without re-election eligibility.

Created by N.W. on October 08, 2011

The current system of two, four year terms creates a conflict of interest. Once a president is elected, his or her only goal is to be re-elected. A president starts his second election campaign early into his first term; thus creating an enormous distraction with potentially dire consequences if an imperative issue arises that requires executive intervention. This interferes with the goal of sustaining and creating policies that that are quintessential to benefit the American people.

Our presidents should serve a single, 6 year term to keep the values and priorities where they matter.
