Prostitution is the world's oldest profession, but is also one of the most dangerous. While there are lots of problems with human trafficking, sexual abuse, sexual slavery, and STD/HIV diagnoses, these things would not happen if prostitution was changed from a crime into a business.
Providing the workers and customers with health checkups, placing them in safe working conditions, and only allowing adults to participate would help these problems from continuing.
Plus, it would create lots of jobs for tons of adults of all sexes.
Preventing a person from choosing what to do with their body never makes the problem go away, if anything, it makes the problem worse.
