Make a public address explaining how collecting data from smartphone apps like Angry Birds helps prevent terrorism.

Created by H.B. on January 28, 2014

Under your administration the National Security Agency has exponentially expanded their mass data collection programs. This has now been revealed to include collecting user data from smartphone apps.

As the NSA is overseen by you and you alone, their actions are sanctioned by you. Therefore, as American citizens who feel that you have abused your power to monitor potential terrorists and in the process infringed upon the constitutional rights of American citizens, we ask you to explain to us how collecting user data from phone apps has been effective in identifying foreign terrorists and preventing terror attacks.

If you cannot in good conscience defend the extent of user data collection from phone apps, we ask that you make a public statement explaining how you will reign in the NSA.
