Elected officials talk about improving public education in the US, they talk about education reform, they talk about making education a priority. But the majority of elected officials send their children to private school. How can one claim to care about and support public education when his/her child attends private school?
It's time elected officials walk the walk-- make public education mandatory for the children of elected officials. If public school is good enough for my kids, why isn't it good enough for yours?
