Before any of us obtain a mortgage, we must provide every detail of our financial status to our prospective lending institution to convince them that we will be able cover the debt of their lending, to prove we are worth their risk.
As the "bank" for our nation's balloning debt, we demand that the federal government provide a detailed balance sheet with accompanying explanation of how our national debt will be zeroed out, to us, the tax paying citizens of United States.
We demand that the US Federal Government prove to its citizens that they really care about the financial viability of this country before the next State of the Union address. If this isn't done, they must convince the American people why we should continue paying taxes.
