On Saturday, January 2nd, radical militants staged an armed takeover of a Federal building in the Malheur Wildlife Refuge of Oregon.
These violent armed militants are holding the American people hostage. They have made demands that the government hand over public property to them, that two convicted felons be released from serving their prison sentences, and they have made threats upon the lives of law enforcement and civil servants. They are threatening to take more buildings by force.
President Obama, release a public statement against this violent criminal behavior. Direct our federal agencies to end this assault on our nation and our people and prosecute these thugs. Your silence only emboldens them.
