To make a public statement condemning the arrest and pending trial of Cameron D'Ambrosio as a violation of free speech.

Created by J.Z. on May 21, 2013

Cameron D'Ambrosio was arrested for making a rap video that allegedly contains a terrorist threat.

The following is the text of the rap: "A Boston bombing wait till you see the [expletive] I do. I'm a be famous rapping, and beat every murder charge that comes across me!"

While the lyrics are offensive, they do not point to any specific threat, and an arrest based off of these lyrics badly misinterprets the original intent of the law. Considering the 1st Amendment guarantee of free speech, the fact that this individual was arrested and is facing terrorism charges is embarrassing to our Nation.
