Make a public statement on whether an attempt should be made to recover or recapture the USS Pueblo from North Korea.

Created by S.B. on July 28, 2013

North Korea captured the Pueblo, a US Navy vessel, in 1968. It remains the only US Navy ship held captive. It was recently reopened as a museum by the North Korean government.
When the ship was captured, the crew was criticized for not putting up a fight - one that would have likely resulted in the loss of the ship and crew.
An attempt to recapture the Pueblo would also likely result in its destruction.
