Make the Redwood Empire a Freely Associated State

As a resident of the Redwood Empire, i feel that the Redwood Empire should enter the Compact of Free Association with the United States, and become a Freely Associated State of the United States, the name of the new state will be Redwoodia, Eureka, California will be the capital of Redwoodia, and the official language will be English, and we need to be a freely associated state with the United States, we can elect our own President, have our own government, and we will be a independent country within the United States, if we become a country, we can have more tourism to our forests, and our region can become more well-known.
