Reinstate full COLA for military retirees! Men and women of the armed forces volunteered to serve, and upon doing so, certain promises were made to them. The U.S government is quickly losing the faith of the men and women of the military. Less than 1% of Americans volunteer to serve, and far less than that actually reach retirement. Retirees certainly don't live extravagant lives, so is it worth losing faith over a savings of 6 billion dollars? Find other places to take that money from, maybe for instance, shortening the unemployment benefits, reducing welfare, or even continue with cuts in the military, i.e less flying hours, or less training exercises, but please don't go after the scraps that these people have worked 20 years for.
