Children and adolescents who have suffered from Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Suicidal Behavior, etc. are currently unable to join the Military in most circumstances as adults due to these issues as a minor, although they may be completely recovered from such Mental Health issues.
Your mental health issues as a child or adolescent should not effect your ability to join the Military as a matured adult as long as one is found healthy at the time of enlistment. Perhaps for a certain period of time.
Medications, therapy, hospital visits during your youth should not keep you from serving your country as a healthy, matured adult.
We the people want reforms to Military Disqualifications due to health issues in ones youth that no longer have effect on adult life.
